Wellington barely beat Floydada the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Skyrockets never let the Whirlwinds get on the board and left with a 6-0 victory on Friday. The win was nothing new for the Skyrockets as they're now sitting on three straight.

Wellington's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Floydada, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-10.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Wellington will challenge rival Lockney at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Floydada is set to face off against their familiar foe Clarendon at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
