Borger had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.4 goals) and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Perryton Rangers an 8-0 shutout. Borger might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by three goals or more this season.

Borger's win bumped their record up to 10-1-2. As for Perryton, their loss dropped their record down to 0-15.
