Baseball Recap: Rochelle Comes Up Short

Rochelle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Kaneland Knights, falling 13-3. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Knights this season, with their most recent loss being a 18-3 defeat on Tuesday.

Rochelle's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Kaneland, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-7-1 record this season.

Rochelle will look to defend their home field on Friday against Sterling at 4:00 p.m. As for Kaneland, they will head out to square off against Sycamore at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
