Basketball Recap: Rochester Comes Up Short

Rochester lost against Montesano back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Rochester Warriors were beaten by the Montesano Bulldogs 60-20. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 316th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 70th).

Rochester's defeat was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Montesano, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rochester will welcome Tenino at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Montesano, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Napavine at 6:45 p.m.
