Basketball Game Preview: Campbell-Savona Panthers vs. Canisteo-Greenwood Chargers

Campbell-Savona hasn't had much luck against Canisteo-Greenwood recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Campbell-Savona Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Canisteo-Greenwood Chargers at 7:15 p.m.

Campbell-Savona is headed into Monday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Thursday. They had to suffer through a 75-37 loss at the hands of Avoca Central.

Meanwhile, Canisteo-Greenwood won against Arkport Central on Thursday with 65 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. Canisteo-Greenwood had just enough and edged Bishop Kearney out 65-63. The win was nothing new for the Chargers as they're now sitting on three straight.

Canisteo-Greenwood is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. As for Campbell-Savona, their loss dropped their record down to 4-12.

Campbell-Savona was dealt a bruising 69-35 defeat at the hands of Canisteo-Greenwood when the teams last played back in January of 2024. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Campbell-Savona was down 36-13.
