Soccer Recap: Hamden Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Hamden and South Windsor squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Hamden had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Bobcats by a score of 3-2. While losing is never fun, Hamden can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut soccer rankings (they are ranked 51st, while South Windsor are ranked seventh).

Hamden's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7-7. As for South Windsor, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-2-2 record this season.

Hamden does not have any more games scheduled as of now. South Windsor has already played their next matchup (against the Green Dragons), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
