Recap: T.L. Hanna Yellow Jackets vs. Woodmont Wildcats

The T.L. Hanna Yellow Jackets had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27.7 points), and they went ahead and made it seven on Friday. They blew past Woodmont 64-25 at home. The result was nothing new for T.L. Hanna, who have now won five matchups by 23 points or more so far this season.

Woodmont's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jordan Sink, who rushed for 33 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 152 yards and a touchdown. The team also got some help courtesy of Ezekiel Belcher, who rushed for 108 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries.

T.L. Hanna's victory was their sixth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 9-1. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 0-9 Mauldin and 2-8 Laurens (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 38.5% over those games). As for Woodmont, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5.

T.L. Hanna does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Woodmont will head out on the road to face off against Mauldin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Mauldin comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 12 points in their last seven games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
