Basketball Recap: Macksville Comes Up Short

After flying high against Otis-Bison last Thursday, Macksville came back down to earth. The Macksville Mustangs came up short against the St. John Tigers on Friday, falling 61-40. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 220th, while the Tigers are ranked 88th).

Macksville's loss dropped their record down to 9-11. As for St. John, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Macksville nor St. John have any future games scheduled.
