Volleyball Game Preview: Evergreen Park Mustangs vs. Wilmington Wildcats

The Evergreen Park Mustangs are taking a road trip to challenge the Wilmington Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Evergreen Park sitting on four straight victories and Wilmington on three.

On Tuesday, Evergreen Park beat Richards 2-0.

Evergreen Park never let Richards on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Wilmington earned a 2-0 win over Coal City on Tuesday.

Wilmington didn't let Coal City take a single set, but it sure wasn't easy: every set was decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 25-23, 27-25.

Evergreen Park better keep an eye on Sami Liaromatis. She was instrumental in Wilmington's win, getting 15 digs and one assist.

Evergreen Park's record now sits at 22-11. As for Wilmington, their record is now 26-5.
