Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.
Jacob Herrick tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March.
At the plate, St. James let Josh Harnish and Jackson Squires run wild. Harnish scored two runs while going 2-for-3, while Squires scored two runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Harnish has become a key player for St. James: the team is 4-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 3-7 otherwise. Luke Kessler was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with four RBI.
