After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Brashier Middle College Charter, Dixie was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Abbeville Panthers with a sharp 8-2 victory. With Dixie ahead 5-1 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Their offense was hitting Abbeville from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Drew Biggerstaff led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Dixie is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those five contests. Abbeville's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.
