After a string of three wins, Caldwell's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Belton Tigers.

Reese McManus paced Caldwell's offense, picking up four kills. McManus got some help from Lydia Giese and her seven assists.

Caldwell's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Belton, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-7.

Caldwell has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Huntsville on the 22nd. As for Belton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Temple on the 22nd.
