Volleyball Recap: Jefferson Takes a Loss

If Jefferson was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of KIPP SF College Prep last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Jefferson fell just short of the South San Francisco Warriors by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday.

Jefferson started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 20-25, 25-17, 25-23, 15-11.

Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for South San Francisco, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-6.

Coming up, Jefferson will face off against Woodside at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. As for South San Francisco, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on El Camino at 5:45 p.m. on April 9.
