Trinity dropped their record down to 14-11 on Friday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Mt. Shasta Bears by a score of 4-3. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wolves of the 14-11 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Trinity saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was JesseAnn Bickle, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

As for Mt. Shasta, the win got them back to even at 10-10-1. The victory was a breath of fresh air for they as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

On Mt. Shasta's side, Emily Pigoni spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on four hits and racked up 13 Ks. Pigoni has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Mt. Shasta beat Trinity by a score of 12-2 later that day.
