Baseball Recap: Kingsley-Pierson Extends Winning Streak to Three

Kingsley-Pierson waltzed into their game on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They had just enough and edged out the Sibley-Ocheyedan Generals 3-1. That's two games straight that the Panthers have won by exactly two runs.

Kingsley-Pierson's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-8. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Sibley-Ocheyedan, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-18.

Looking ahead, Kingsley-Pierson will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Woodbury Central. Sibley-Ocheyedan does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
