Baseball Recap: Marsing's Winning Streak Snapped at Three Games

Marsing lost against Nampa Christian back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Huskies fell 9-5 to the Trojans. The Huskies' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Jace Chadez was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3. He has become a key player for Marsing: the team is 6-2 when he posts at least two runs, but 1-2 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Teagan Kinney, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Marsing's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-4. As for Nampa Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That somehow still isn't as good as their 8-2-1 record this season.

Marsing will square off against New Plymouth at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Huskies will need to watch out since the Pilgrims have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matchups. As for Nampa Christian, they will challenge Vision at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Nampa Christian is facing Vision at the right time seeing as Vision is stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
