Baseball Recap: Lee County Comes Up Short

Lee County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against the Clay County Tigers, falling 16-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 on Saturday.

Lee County's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Clay County, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season.

Lee County will host Hazard at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Clay County, they will head out on the road to challenge Model at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
