Basketball Recap: Armuchee Takes a Loss

On Friday, the Armuchee Indians took a blow against the Christian Heritage Lions, falling 75-31. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Several Indians players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jakson Hightower, who posted four points and six rebounds.

Armuchee's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Christian Heritage, they pushed their record up to 8-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Armuchee will square off against Haralson County at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Christian Heritage, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 71-56 victory against Washington on the 4th.
