Volleyball Recap: Dominguez Comes Up Short

Dominguez was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 29th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Bellflower Buccaneers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Buccaneers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-16, 25-20.

Dominguez's loss dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Bellflower, with the win, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 4-22.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Dominguez will face off against rival Gahr at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Bellflower is set to square off against their familiar foe Lynwood at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
