Softball Game Preview: Evergreen Wolverines vs. Highline Pirates

Evergreen is 2-8 against Highline since May of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Wolverines will face off against the Pirates at 3:30 p.m.

Last Monday, Evergreen came up short against Muckleshoot Tribal and fell 9-6.

Meanwhile, Highline made easy work of Foster on Friday and carried off a 20-5 victory. The win continues a trend for the Pirates in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won eight in a row.

Highline now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Evergreen, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Everything went Evergreen's way against Highline when the teams last played back in April of 2025, as Evergreen made off with a 12-2 victory. Will the Wolverines repeat their success, or do the Pirates have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
