Volleyball Recap: Wilmington Comes Up Short

Wilmington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Bedford Buccaneers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 3-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Wilmington's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Bedford, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Wilmington didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Arlington on the 9th. As for Bedford, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Concord-Carlisle on the 10th.
