Boise took a ten-run defeat the last time they faced off against Eagle, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Boise had just enough and edged out Eagle 4-3 on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Brave have posted since March 11, 2024.

Boise got a great performance from Presley Mitchell-Burleson as she didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. What's more, Mitchell-Burleson gave up only zero earned runs, the fewest she's had since back in April of 2024.
