Basketball Recap: Keith Comes Up Short

Keith was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 69-56 to the Dallas County Hornets. The Bears were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Hornets earlier this season, when they won 60-48.

Keith's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Dallas County, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 6-6 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Keith won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Ellwood Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Bears will be up against the Eagles' rather soft defense (which has allowed 57.43 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. Dallas County and Sumter Central will round out the year against one another at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
