Baseball Game Preview: Phoenix Pirates vs. Mazama Vikings

For the second straight game, Phoenix will face off against Mazama. The Pirates will challenge the Vikings at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.

Phoenix will bounce into Friday's game after beating Mazama, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Pirates walked away with a 10-6 win over the Vikings on Wednesday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

For Mazama's part, Devyn Lobdell was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and one triple. Deshawn Carter also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.
