Basketball Recap: Fairview Skates Past Brooklyn with Ease

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Trinity, Fairview was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They blew past the Brooklyn Hurricanes, posting a 49-14 win. The Warriors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Hurricanes, too.

Fairview's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Brooklyn, their defeat was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fairview and Huron will round out the year against one another at at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Brooklyn, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Independence at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
