Baseball Recap: Peniel Baptist Academy Wins Going Away Against Meadowbrook Academy

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Countryside Christian, Peniel Baptist Academy was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They blew past the Meadowbrook Academy Mustangs 19-6. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by 11 runs or more this season.

Preston Fields was incredible, going 4-for-5 with two triples, three runs, and four RBI. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. Brody Lail was another key player, scoring four runs and stealing Three bases. while going 1-for-4.

Peniel Baptist Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

The win got Peniel Baptist Academy back to even at 4-4. As for Meadowbrook Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Peniel Baptist Academy will host Hawthorne at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
