St. Francis had already won 17 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.6 runs) and they went ahead and made it 18 on Monday. They blew past the Fenwick Friars 14-4. For the Spartans, this counts as revenge for the 4-3 win the Friars walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

St. Francis pushed their record up to 22-3 with the victory, which was their 13th straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Fenwick, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-13-1.

St. Francis will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Friars: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
