It was a Battle of the Birds when Plymouth Christian Academy faced off against Forest Hills Eastern on Saturday. The Eagles blew past the Hawks 11-1. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won 15 games by six  runs or more  so far this season.
 Sophie Paryaski and  Clara Groen made a big impact no matter where they played. Throwing,  Paryaski   didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only  one  hit while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Meanwhile,  Groen   tossed one inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Paryaski has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in 22 consecutive appearances. At bat,  Paryaski  went 2-for-3 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI, while  Groen  went 3-for-4 with three  runs, two  doubles,  and two  RBI. That's the most  runs  Groen has posted  over her last 14  matches.
 In other batting news,  Mariah Wright was  incredible,  going 2-for-3 with three  RBI, two  doubles,  and one  run. Those  two  doubles gave  her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Chloe Paryaski, who  went 1-for-3 with three  RBI, one  stolen base,  and one  run.
 Plymouth Christian Academy was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .429. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their  batting average total in three consecutive  contests.
Plymouth Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 19-9. As for Forest Hills Eastern,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 18-9.
 Plymouth Christian Academy has already played their next game,  a  7-1  victory against Kent City on the 17th. As for Forest Hills Eastern, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next  matchup,  an  11-10  win against Norrix on the 17th.
