Basketball Game Preview: Spring Hill Bears vs. Caddo Hills Indians

The Spring Hill Bears will head out to face off against the Caddo Hills Indians at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Spring Hill lost 64-38 to Cutter-Morning Star on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 134th, while the Eagles are ranked 32nd).

Meanwhile, Caddo Hills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 39-36 heartbreaker at the hands of Murfreesboro. The loss was just more heartbreak for the Indians who fell 49-46 when the teams previously met back in January of 2024.

Caddo Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 9-18. As for Spring Hill, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-12.

Spring Hill strolled past Caddo Hills in their previous matchup on Monday by a score of 49-35. The rematch might be a little tougher for Spring Hill since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
