Denver Christian won the last time they faced DSST: Cedar and Walker Politte did his part to make sure it happened again. The Thunder walked away with a 69-59 victory over the Falcons on Tuesday for which the team can thank Politte, who posted 21 points along with seven boards and five steals. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 15.2 points per game.

The team also got some help courtesy of Luke DeBoer, who scored seven points and six blocks. Those blocks marked the first that he has posted this season.

Defeat or not, DSST: Cedar got some senior leadership from Tristin Aragon and Same Mehari. Aragon shot 83% from the field to rack up 11 points and seven rebounds, while Mehari went 6-for-12 en route to 18 points. Jack Horiuchi was another key player, putting up six points in addition to seven assists and six boards.

Denver Christian's record is now 3-1. As for DSST: Cedar, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Denver Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 60-51 loss against Simla on the 12th. As for DSST: Cedar, they have also already played their next game, a 64-51 defeat against Moffat County on the 11th.
