Basketball Recap: Marbury Falls Short of Ramsay in the Playoffs

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Marbury couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell 65-53 to the Ramsay Rams on Wednesday. The Bulldogs' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Despite the loss, Marbury still got an impressive performance from Gabrielle Brown, who went 10-for-14 to rack up 23 points along with seven boards and three steals. What's more, Brown also posted a 71% shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's achieved since back in November of 2024. Justice Blackmon was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Marbury's loss dropped their record down to 22-7. As for Ramsay, the win (which was their 20th in a row) raised their record to 31-7.

As of now, neither Marbury nor Ramsay have any future games scheduled.
