Baseball Recap: Far Rockaway Comes Up Short

Far Rockaway entered their match against Queens Teaching on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Seahorses fell 9-5 to the Tigers. If the Seahorses were looking for revenge after losing 12-0 to the Tigers when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Far Rockaway's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Queens Teaching, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

While Far Rockaway had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
