Recap: Lakeside Lutheran Warriors vs. Hamilton/Audubon
The Lakeside Lutheran Warriors entered their tilt with Hamilton/Audubon with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Lakeside Lutheran came out on top against Hamilton/Audubon by a score of 64-56 on Saturday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Lakeside Lutheran found their leader in underclassman Wes Rahn, who dropped a double-double on 31 points and 16 rebounds. The contest was Rahn's third in a row with at least ten points. Kooper Mlsna was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with 5 rebounds.
Lakeside Lutheran's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Hamilton/Audubon, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Lakeside Lutheran will head out on the road to face off against Edgewood at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Edgewood's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. Hamilton/Audubon will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Butler at 1:00 p.m. on January 27, 2024.
