Soccer Recap: Hendersonville Comes Up Short

After soaring to four goals the game before, Hendersonville was a bit more limited in their match on Monday. They fell 2-0 to the Owen Warhorses. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Owen this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-2 back in September.

Hendersonville's loss dropped their record down to 6-8-1. As for Owen, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-3-1.

Coming up, Hendersonville will square off against Avery County at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hendersonville are facing Avery County at the right time seeing as Avery County are stuck on a 15-game losing streak. As for Owen, they will face off against Madison at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Owen will be up against Madison's rather soft defense (which has allowed five goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
