Archbold is a perfect 6-0 against Swanton since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Blue Streaks will be playing at home against the Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. Archbold hasn't scored more than two runs for three games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Archbold and Perrysburg, and Perrysburg kept the tradition alive. The Blue Streaks took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Yellow Jackets on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Swanton suffered their biggest loss since May 10, 2024 on Thursday. They came up short against Evergreen, falling 7-1. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Bulldogs' biggest loss of the season was also their lowest-scoring.

Having lost for the first time this season, Swanton fell to 8-1. As for Archbold, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.

Archbold took their win against Swanton in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 12-4 score. Do the Blue Streaks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
