Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Stokes). They put the hurt on the South Davidson Wildcats with a sharp 4-1 win on Tuesday. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 3-0.

North Stokes hit South Davidson with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Mitchell Flinchum (2), Adrian Tynio, and Tyler Pederson.

North Stokes moved to 4-9-2 with that victory, which also ended their three-match losing streak. As for South Davidson, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8.

Looking ahead, North Stokes will challenge Phoenix Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for South Davidson, they will take on Bishop McGuinness at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. South Davidson's defense better be ready for this one: Bishop McGuinness have averaged an impressive 4.3 goals per game this season.
