Softball Recap: Farmersville Takes a Loss

Farmersville fell victim to Woodlake and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 12-0. The Aztecs haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Farmersville saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lesly Leyva, who went 1-for-2 with one triple.

Farmersville's loss dropped their record down to 15-5. As for Woodlake, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 23-1.

Farmersville didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 19-1 win against Wonderful College Prep Academy on the 13th. As for Woodlake, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 14-0 victory against Corcoran on the 12th.
