Soccer Recap: Sage Hill Takes a Loss

Sage Hill lost against Portola back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Sage Hill Lightning took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Portola Bulldogs. That's two games in a row now that the Lightning have lost by exactly two goals.

Sage Hill's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-10-2. As for Portola, the win snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 5-7-1 record.

Sage Hill will look to defend their home pitch on Wednesday against Irvine at 3:30 p.m. Sage Hill is facing Irvine at the right time seeing as Irvine is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Portola, they will take on Northwood at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
