Softball Recap: Hale County Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Hale County's offense. They lost 10-0 to the Demopolis Tigers on Thursday. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Hale County saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was JJ McDaniel, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Hale County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Demopolis, their victory bumped their record up to 8-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hale County will square off against Greensboro at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Demopolis, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Montevallo at 5:30 p.m. Montevallo will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Demopolis surely won't give up without a fight.
