The Montville Mustangs are taking a road trip to square off against the Morris Hills Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Montville will be strutting in after a win while Morris Hills will be coming in after a defeat.

Montville took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 24-7 victory over West Morris Mendham.

Meanwhile, Morris Hills was just a hair shy of victory on Saturday and fell 14-13 to Parsippany Hills.

Morris Hills' loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Montville, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Everything came up roses for Montville against Morris Hills in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 47-14 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
