Battle Ground got themselves on the board against Evergreen on Thursday, but Evergreen never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over the Plainsmen. The Tigers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

The victory got Battle Ground back to even at 2-2-1. As for Evergreen, their loss was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-3.

Battle Ground and Evergreen will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time Battle Ground sees the field they'll take on Ridgefield at 4:30 p.m. on April 7. As for Evergreen, their break will end when they face Camas at 4:30 p.m. on April 14.
