Football Recap: Legacy Victorious

Bell came into Friday's contest looking for another win against Legacy, but Joseph Rodriguez wouldn't allow it. The Tigers had just enough and edged out the Eagles 17-14 thanks in part to Rodriguez, who rushed for 90 yards on only 11 carries, and also picked up 37 receiving yards. He didn't just play on offense: he also made nine total tackles and defended one pass.

Although Bell took the loss, they still got scores from Aaron Hernandez and Jordan Medrano.

The victory got Legacy back to even at 4-4. As for Bell, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Legacy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 14-10 defeat against South East on the 23rd. As for Bell, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Roosevelt at 7:00 p.m. on the 30th. The Rough Riders will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
