Soccer Recap: Lisbon Finishes Even with Pittsburg

Fans were treated to a battle of the Panthers on Monday. Neither Lisbon nor Pittsburg could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked Lisbon's first draw of the season.

Lisbon's draw gives them a new season record of 3-3-1. As for Pittsburg, they moved theirs to 3-1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lisbon will venture away from home to take on Groveton at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Groveton's last four games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Pittsburg, they will square off against Gorham at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Pittsburg are facing Gorham at the right time seeing as Gorham are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
