Basketball Recap: Paetow Gets the Win

After losing to Morton Ranch the last time they met, Paetow decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Paetow Panthers slipped by the Morton Ranch Mavericks 63-62 on Tuesday.

Paetow has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 8-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.3 points per game. As for Morton Ranch, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Paetow Panthers face off against the Cinco Ranch Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Paetow knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Cinco Ranch likes a good challenge. As for Morton Ranch, they will be home for the holidays to greet Mayde Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Mayde Creek is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 66.9 points per game this season.
