Linton-Stockton has gone a perfect 9-0 against West Vigo recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. Linton-Stockton will be strutting in after a victory while West Vigo will be coming in after a defeat.

On Thursday, Linton-Stockton got the win against Mitchell by a conclusive 3-0. The Miners haven't had any issues with the Bluejackets recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

One reason for the win was Linton-Stockton's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-11, 25-7.

Meanwhile, West Vigo came up short against Northview on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

West Vigo was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Northview work for it, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-9, 25-6.

Linton-Stockton's victory bumped their record up to 21-8. As for West Vigo, they now have a losing record of 13-14.

Everything went Linton-Stockton's way against West Vigo in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as Linton-Stockton made off with a 3-0 win. Will the Miners repeat their success, or do the Vikings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
