Football Recap: Clintonville Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Clintonville's offense. They were beaten by the Oconto Falls Panthers 52-0 on Friday. The defeat leaves the Truckers still looking for their first win of the season.

Clintonville's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Oconto Falls, their win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Clintonville will host Northland Pines at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Truckers will be up against the Eagles' rather soft defense (which has allowed 26.2 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Oconto Falls, they will head out to face off against Coleman at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers will need to watch out since the Cougars have now posted at least 31 points in their last three contests.
