Softball Recap: Fisher Catholic Victorious

While Fisher Catholic's win against Millersport wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Irish had just enough and edged out the Lakers 6-5. The Irish haven't had any issues with the Lakers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Harper Kline was excellent, scoring a run while going 3-for-4. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2024. Lylee Marcinko also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.

Fisher Catholic was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .393. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Fisher Catholic's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Millersport, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-2.
