Baseball Game Preview: Buckingham Charter Knights vs. Sacramento Country Day Cavaliers

For the second straight game, Buckingham Charter will face off against Sacramento Country Day. The Knights will host the Cavaliers at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Buckingham Charter is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.7 runs per game this season.

Having struggled with five losses in a row, Buckingham Charter turned things around against Sacramento Country Day on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Cavaliers 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Knights have posted since March 1st.

Wyatt Griffin was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Those nine strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, earning three RBI, three runs, and five stolen bases.
