Softball Recap: Tri-City Christian's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Wednesday

Tri-City Christian fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Coastal Academy on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Stingrays by a score of 14-13. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Eagles, who until this match were averaging 3.33 runs allowed.

Abby Lisak was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-5 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaedyn Ybarra, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Tri-City Christian moved to 13-4-1 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak. As for Coastal Academy, they pushed their record up to 11-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home.
