Football Recap: Ball Takes a Loss

If Ball was riding high fresh off their 49-7 takedown of Westside last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tornadoes were just a hair shy of victory on Friday and fell 21-20 to the Sterling Rangers. The Tornadoes were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rangers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Although Ball took the loss, they still got scores from Corieon Sanders, Jayvian Joseph, and Rodney Tipps.

Ball now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Sterling, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Ball has already played their next game, a 48-0 loss against Port Arthur Memorial on the 3rd. As for Sterling, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 23-14 win against Barbers Hill on the 2nd.
